Step 01
The RawIntake
Every board begins with a call. Storm-felled oaks from county road crews, century-old joists pulled from a Craftsman gut-job in Sellwood, hand-hewn beams from a 1910 dairy barn outside Newberg. We photograph, tag, and log each origin before the log truck backs in — because provenance is half the value.
40–60 loads received annually
Species verified on intake

Step 03
TheKiln
Green wood moves. We run a dehumidification kiln to bring moisture content below 8% — the threshold where slabs stop warping, checking, and surprising you six months after installation. Each load is stickered, stacked, and monitored with a pin meter every 72 hours. Nothing ships wet.
Target MC: 6–8%
Cycle: 3–6 weeks depending on species
